The Double Eagle Invitational Pro-Am is a five-person team event, each consisting of an invited professional and four amateur partners. The professional plays for a total of $100,000 in prize money, based on the individual 72- hole competition and the position of the team at the end of the tournament. Each team plays two rounds on both the Nicklaus and Weiskopf Course at the Vista Vallarta Golf Club. The field is divided into four flights. Tournament awards are presented to the winners in each flight, along with the overall team championship.

PRE-TOURNAMENT AT Vista Vallarta
The TACO BELL SHOOTOUT at Vista Vallarta is available for all teams arriving early and staying at the Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa on Monday night prior to the Double Eagle Invitational Pro-Am. This is a two-person, alternate shot, Pro-Am Shootout. The professional plus one amateur teammate will be ‘flighted’ into 6 groupings and play two designated holes and the winners of each grouping will advance to the finals on holes #17 and #18 of the Weiskopf Course at Vista Vallarta.

A Signature Design by Jack Nicklaus located on the property’s highest elevation. The Weiskopf Course provides a dramatically different experience in contrast to the Nicklaus design and is situated at the lower west end of the property.
